Chagrin Falls high school takes on Cleveland! 47 photography students from Chagrin Falls high school embarked on their final exam field trip. The students visited the Lake View Cemetery, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Rockefeller Greenhouse. The first location, Lake View Cemetery opened in 1896 and houses many famous people such as: John D. Rockefeller, Charles Brush, the Van Sweringen brothers, Carl Stokes, and president James A. Garfield. The students visited these famous grave sites and captured their glory through photography. The class then traveled to the Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA) where they were allowed to explore their artistic vision surrounded by the greats. The CMA is one of the highest rated free art museum in the US and houses great pieces by many artists. Many of the students had fun exploring the new interactive area and photographing famous pieces of art. The final stop of the day was to the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse, home to countless beautiful native and exotic plants. The students celebrated the beauty of nature by photographing the fascinating plants.
